Ava got sooooo many gifts this year that we decided to let her go ahead and open some of them as they came in. Once again, her Great-Great-Aunt Anna got the honor of having her gift(s) opened first.
She finally, finally got it that there were things for her in those packages and it wasn’t just about paper and bows.
Ava was simply delighted. It was so much fun watching her excitement.
From her Aunt Anna she received several Disney Prince.ss outfits that will be perfect for our already planned and booked December 2010 Disneyworld trip. They’re size 3T so I suspect they’ll be fitting her just about perfectly this time next year.
And for me? If I could have this under my tree every year I’d never want or need any other gift.
P.S. See the golden pig on the tree behind her? We bought that in the courtyard at the Temple of Heaven from a lady was was knitting them right there. I think it cost about 3 Yuan and is one of my favorite ornaments/souvenirs from our trip.
